Oh-that is too bad-maybe he will do that come spring? It is a crying shame to let a perfectly good barn go to waste-even a new metal one costs several thousand to put up.

It has been very hard, but the faster I sell this place, the better it will get-besides the broke-on-my-ass factor, the memories are literally in the very walls.

I hear that! It's a hard place to be.

My landlord turned 73 and lost his investments so I think the barn is lost. We would have tried to do something with it but Hubby lost his job. Life is like that.

I’m sorry to hear that-things will get better-we all just have to suck it up a bit longer, and convince people to vote a bit smarter-or get the liberal whiners to move to California...

And I’m one of those who doesn’t see people not retiring as a bad thing-we will likely stay healthier if we all keep working instead of swatting a golfball around or lying by a pool.

Apparently, regular people didn’t really retire in the past-they farmed, opened their own shops and the like-the rich were different, of course, but a lot of them ended up being f’d over by greedy relatives, spending a fortune in lawyers’ fees...

I hope for the future. Hubby hates the thought of being retired.

My dinner is ready. It was nice chatting with you! :-)

Indeed! CONTROL it the lesson being taught to government school students every day.

The Marxist teachers’ goal: To train the next generation of comrades ( oops! “citizens”) to be very comfortable with government control of their lives.

Schools look like prisons. They food is like prison food. They are in many ways treated like prisoners!

When tyranny comes, the oligarchy will not use cattle cars. No. No. Instead they will use big yellow prison buses ( oops “school” buses) and the sheeple will compliantly board them just as they have been trained to do.

Now...I soon expect that some government school teacher will soon be on these message boards claiming that God has personally called them to support, uphold, and assist in the training of the future generation of state prisoners in our nation's government kiddie indoctrination camps. ( eye roll)

Very off topic but I remember the first time that I met a liberal. It was my freshman year of high school, the fall of 1964. I believe it was orientation class and his name was Mr Schmidt. Young guy between 25 and 30. He was talking to us about social issues when he broke into a rant. Something about black men being arrested for rape and why did we think black men even wanted those white b!tches. All of us sat there absolutely silent. Not one had ANY idea what he was raving about. He lasted one year at the school. Nobody missed him.
