Hey, lol, I just spent hours making the cartoon - wasn’t thinking about left or right but he does have it against his left shoulder. I would place it against my right shoulder!
Whoops, sorry, I misspoke!! I kept thinking I saw it that way but I actually helped paint it in on his right shoulder, lol.

Couple of possible theories on the smoke one of which is that he didn't shoot anything and the smoke was Photoshopped in by clueless minions. Or - using a blank shell would allow unburned gunpowder to exit the muzzle, although modern smokeless powder still wouldn't produce that much smoke. There are a lot of threads discussing this now... And a whole bunch of photos that are at least as true as his multilayered PDF birth cert!

With the picture blown up, now none of it looks right. The end of the muzzle is orange, and where the ports are drilled, you don’t see any smoke coming out.
Whoever organized this, it’s such a poor excuse for a photo-op that the person ought to be fired. We’re going to tear this thing apart.
I’ve been wearing a watch on my right wrist for as long as I can remember. Also went through a period of a few years when I used to sleep with a digital watch on my wrist.
About the only thing I don’t do left handed is use scissors. Everything else, from writing to throwing, including playing guitar, I do left handed.
I’ve used regular firearms (by that I mean right-side ejection) and didn’t really have a problem with the shell ejecting in front of my face, mostly because it’s so fast. Though there was one instance when I was using a 10/22 and a case ejected, bounced off the wall and went down my shirt. Thankfully it cooled off pretty quick.
