The recently released photograph of President Obama reportedly “Taken at Camp David – the Maryland presidential retreat – on August 4, 2012, his 51st birthday,” is a complete fake.
As a lifelong shotgunner, I immediately smelled a rat. Nothing in the photo looks right and upon closer examination, it is a complete fraud.
One need go no further than examining the ports on the shotgun. Ports are tiny holes sometimes drilled near the muzzle (the business end of the gun) to release energy and reduce recoil. They serve as a pressure release valve of sorts. One will immediately notice that there is smoke coming from the right side of the gun in the photo as well as out the front. The only problem is that there is no smoke coming from the ports on the left side of the gun, clearly seen in the photo suggesting that the smoke was doctored into the photo. Furthermore, the smoke exiting on the right side of the gun does not match the port pattern on the left. If this gun was being fired as suggested by the White House, then the smoke would be coming out the ports on the gun clearly seen in the picture and evenly on both sides.
To add insult to injury, the smoke pictured is not clearly defined and appears to be moved by wind. At this stage in the firing process, this phenomenon would be nearly impossible. The smoke should look like it is being rapidly forced out small holes instead of something wafting from a chimney.

Photoshopped or not the photo is a staged phony to cover up the big lie...”I shoot skeet all the time”. There are so many technical flaws in the photo that it is undoubtedly a staged photo and not a photo of Obama shooting anything. It reminds me of the many staged photos of North Korea’s leaders carefully inspecting factories, military barracks etc.

Looks like they have trained the skeet to hover at shoulder height. They forgot the choke in the lower tube also. :-)
Thank you for pointing that out. I know that I know nothing about high-dollar, high precision competition shotguns.

sorry, mistaken. The NYT phrased it sorta wierd. He went to Chicago the next weekend for a party.
I’ve finished all of my looking at the photo. this appears to be legit.
He was handed a shotgun, he pulled the trigger, that photo was probably not the first time he handled a gun.
I’m moving on. Regardless of what this clown did on his birthday, he’s still coming for our guns.

President Barack Obama will be in his hometown of Chicago for some belated birthday celebrating as well as for raising some cash for his re-election campaign coffers.~~~
On the surface, this weekend’s gathering is a birthday party for Obama’s 51st birthday which passed last Saturday on August 4.
If he held the gun like that,it would pop right out of his hands when shooting.
It is entirely possible that The Mombasa MF uses a double.
Also note that the original shows some platform in a tree casting a clear shadow (behind his head) making an angle of about 45 degrees with the vertical. Looking at the figure of Ogabe the shadows do not appear to match what we would see if the sun was at about a 45 degree angle. Not conclusive, but very suspicious.
Obama is a lefy but he wears his watch on the left wrist. The watch was given to him by the SS on 46th birthday, but I am not sure that the one in the picture matches. It is just not clear enough. The one in the picture doesn’t look like it has a silver colored rim around the outside, it looks all black.
I think Seven plus One has the best explaination on blanks using black powder.
On another thread another poster said the piece on the top barrel looked like a “blank adapter”.
We all know that either this was a pure photoshop fab or they posed him with a blank firing shotgun and set the camera to capture the smoke “evidence”. This asshole still has no clothes!!!!
There is no earthly reason to need or use a BFA (blank firing adapter) on a break action shotgun. BFAs are only needed to increase pressure enough to make semi and full auto actions cycle.

Oh, believe me - I’m looking out for that too. I’ve been examining the veins in his temple for a few hours, trying to get some comparison photo.
Also, while the sunglasses are wrap-around, I think his crow’s feet are longer to his temple. I would assume that perhaps he’s just not squinting. Either way, I’ve spent hours looking at this chump on my computer screen, and I need a damned drink.
You’re right that this shopped pic was meant to distract .. Am I correct in seeing a screw in choke on the top barrel only? In addition to right side only smoke from the porting ,, isn’t the smoke a bit too concentrated and not escaping from ALL the porting holes? Not that it really matters since it’s an obvious fake..
