Remember it started at 1% then went to 7%, then became taxable, then your generation paid for the generation before you.
Now they are hosed and they don’t have the money...it was stolen through appropriations.
Governments do not produce ... they can only tax....so now we all have to pay the money back into the system that they stole over the years so we get things like mandatory insurance and massive amnesty programs
