It is not your grammar that I am taking issue with. It is your failure to hold the police to the same standard as they would hold us to. If you or I were to say as the LAPD police chief said “Tragically, we believe this is a case of mistaken identity, Beck said.” how do you think we would be treated. This is at a time when the politicians and police would love to disarm us; we must hold them to the same standard if not a higher one.
