There are no police in my town; we’re on our own where I live. I suppose one could call the state police but they’re twenty, thirty minutes away so why bother. Unlike Texas, concealed carry has never been illegal in Connecticut; a Luby’s restaurant tragedy could never have happened here. Deer? Like the eastern coyote ( much bigger and more aggressive than those runts in the west) mountain lion and black bear, they’re just part of the neighborhood. Thanks for a further display of your ignorance.

Yep, there’s that Connecticut snobbery I was talking about.
Have you got paved roads and indoor plumbing yet?
If Connecticut is so great why are you talking about
moving here?

Worth every penny of your Connecticut state income taxes! Be proud to reside in one of the scummier colonies!

Well played cynwoody. Perfectly delivered and also, as it happens, absolutely true!

LOL!

Yeah we got indoor plumbing and paved roads. We also are the home of Colt firearms, Winchester rifles and the original Stetson hat. Also, Connecticut builds the nuclear submarines that keep you safe, the Sikorsky helicopters that move the US military forces and the Pratt and Whitney engines that move more than half the passenger and military jets in the western world By the way, the military event we celebrate was standing up to the most powerful military force on earth and winning, it was a victory, not a defeat like that little chapel (where a Connecticut flag hangs) down in San Antonio

But you have nice winter weather and pretty good BBQ. Thanks for asking

Come on down. All joking aside, the one thing that folks
from up north have a hard time with down here is the heat.
The further south you go the more oppressive it is, at least
9 months out of the year. Where I’m at, 100F. with 60% to
90% humidity is normal from late May to Mid September.
Also the best service you can do for your community is to
hunt deer and wild pigs.
