“Obama’s nose is the perfect Barometer!”

It was fun watching, though I wasn’t sure if Obama even understood any of the points that Dr. Carson made. To me, Obama appeared bewildered that the breakfast was about something other then him and what he thinks and believes. He was probably fantasizing about what he would do if he were king, which would be having the good Dr. arrested while laughing and sneering at the Dr. and his audacity to speak his mind. It’s called the audacity of the first amendment.

I heard the good doctor’s speech in its entirety. I highly recommend that
every FReeper go to YouTube and listen to it. It would be like Bonhoeffer speaking truth in front of Herr Hitler in the late 1930’s.

I pray that Dr. Carson doesn’t incur the same fate as Bonhoeffer.

A phenomenon we all needed came into our view at National Prayer Breakfast 2013, and it couldn’t have come along at a better time...I recall feeling the same way about a speech Rush Limbaugh gave shortly into Obama's first term, I forget where. It was a rallying call and plea to keep hoping and working to get through the Obama years and maintain conservative common sense values. Limbaugh seems to have surrendered to pessiimism and cynicism these days. Dr. Carson's message was a bit more general than Limbaugh's, laying out a view of a world and government free of the sort of leftwing corruption and idocy we face now, but thank G*d he came along to pick up the flag.......

I doubt Dr. Carson has any political ambitions. He’s a very healthy looking 61 year old surgeon who still does a huge number of surgeries annually. - That being said; he’s an accomplished person who is worth reading about - has invented some truly remarkable innovations in difficult surgical procedures. - He’s what Obama WISHES he, himself, was - but so far, isn’t!

I saw him being interviewed Sunday on FOX. He said he is retiring in June. Could be he might have political ambitions after that. He says he is registered Independent.

Many libs were trying disparage his speaking at the Prayer Breakfast . . . getting threads on other boards deleted . . . but it certainly proves that their claims of people who don’t agree with Obama being racist and not liking him because he’s black . . . as WRONG . . . it certainly proves disagreement with policies and has absolutely nothing to do with color. So shoots that little “card” they love to play DOWN in FLAMES.

This is about the stupidest post I have ever seen, and it’s racist too.

Racist?
Whatever.

If that’s the best you got, you fail.

I object equally to fawning over anyone.
Palin, Limbaugh, Trayvon Martin.. pick one.

Yes you are. Would you have disagreed with him if he were white? I doubt it. You might not realize it but you are fawning over that arrogant pos occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Who is fawning over Trayvon Martin? The left is you got that one right.

You are either ignorant or intentionally obtuse.

Would you have disagreed with him if he were white?

Where did I indicate I disagreed with him? I don't.
I disagree with FAWNING. Over anyone. Pay attention.

You might not realize it but you are fawning over that arrogant pos occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Ok.. ignorant or obtuse has been bypassed.

You are now crossing over into delusional territory.

I can only conclude that HG is trolling for a flame war. That’s the only way his comments make sense. This would be a convenient time to have an “ignore” feature as some MBs have. Since we don’t, I’m pretending he’s not there.
