All the Military personnel who passed their Evals last year WERE NOT promoted, and now they are gutting their health care.
Retired over 65 use Tricare for Life as secondary to Medicare...both are rationed. Unless you can get your drugs on a base you pay co-pays. For the past 2 years they have gone up. This years raise was $5 for lowest, usually generic, $12 went to $17, $25 went to $44. And if you have a health issue like Peripheral Neuropathy that is not diabetic caused, you have to pay full cost out of your pocket for shoes or orthotics your doctor considers necessary for you. And they are NOT cheap.
Retiree’s are on the same COLA schedule as SS which means they have had 1 pay raise in 4 years, about $40 a month. Not even a tank of gas for a week.
