(Reuters) - North Korea has told its key ally, China, that it is prepared to stage one or even two more nuclear tests this year in an effort to force the United States into diplomatic talks with Pyongyang, said a source with direct knowledge of the message.
Further tests could also be accompanied this year by another rocket launch, said the source who has direct access to the top levels of government in both Beijing and Pyongyang.
The isolated regime conducted its third nuclear test on Tuesday, drawing global condemnation and a stern warning from the United States that it was a threat and a provocation.

If I read that correctly...we, the US, are going to send a “stern warning”....Obama must really be pissed...wow ! Wait till John Kerry gets going ! BTW, it is true that John Kerry’s great uncle is Minister Neville Chamberlain?
And when the PRC dumps a couple of Trillion $$$ worth of US Treasury Bonds onto the market? If you think the economy is in the toilet now, just see what happens when the 10 year Treasury rate is 8% within a week and the going rate for a fully conforming 1st mortgage is around 12%. Not to mention what that will do to the price of the dollar, the capital levels of banks after seeing their US Treasury portfolio decline by 10 - 15%. The potential of that is the total financial system collapse we barely avoided in 2008.
You were doing fine until the 2nd paragraph.
The yield was between 5 kt and 16 kt.

The most disturbing question is whether the Iranians are using North Korea as a backdoor plan for their own nuclear program. The Iranians didnt carry out a nuclear test in Iran, but they may have done so in North Korea, Levkowitz said. There is no official information on this... but Iran may have bypassed inspections via North Korea. If true, this is a very worrying development.

They always seem to show up for N.Korean nuke tests. The 2 countries are working hand in hand - nothing new.
Worrying should have begun years ago.
The analysts also found activity in two different parts of the site. They said that if the North detonated the bomb in a tunnel in the northern area, then the southern tunnel would be readily available for a fourth test.
