Just miles from the site of the Newtown school massacre, Vice President Joe Biden warned Thursday that US politicians would pay a price if they refuse to back measures to stem gun violence.
Biden said in Danbury, Connecticut that there had been a change in American politics which made it less risky for lawmakers to back the kind of legislation the White House is pushing Congress to pass.
"What I say to my colleagues who will watch this and listen to this, I say to you if you're concerned about your political survival, you should be concerned about the survival of our children," Biden said.
"And guess what? I believe the price to be paid politically will be to those who refuse to act, who refuse to step forward, because America has changed on this issue," Biden said.
"You should all know the American people are with us. You should all know there's a moral price to be paid for inaction," Biden said, around 10 miles (16 kilometers) from Newtown.

Furthermore, given the astronomical increase in guns and ammo sales over the past several months, I'm equally confident that it won't be the Republican party paying the price for this anti-second amendment agenda especially when we consider that plenty of rural democrats are just as enthusiastic about firearms as any republican. The same can be said for democratic leaning minorities. This is not a wedge issue and isn't going to become one no matter how much uncle Joe tries to make it so.

This is like Obama saying “The vast majority of NRA members agree with my proposals to limit guns”. Pure get-on-our-bandwagon garbage.
Hey, Joe-bama, show us ONE example of a member of Congress who was diselected because he or she opposed gun control.

It is a waste of time to think that the dems care about gun violence.
What it really is about is removing the ability of the American people to resist the coming tyranny the dems intend to impose on this country.

Had someone once remark to me that the reason she wears those Frau Gestspo leather boots of hers is to get people to look at her. Since Joe is usually too busy looking at himself. It’s probably a good thing that she teaches at the college level ... If she’d taught high school she probably wouldve been caught beddiny the varsity football team within her first month teaching. And even despite the fact that Laz wouldn’t even hit it (well, probably not, anyway).

Gun Control INCREASES Gun Violence, because it create a safe work environment for criminals.

You are correct, and very soon it will be a criminal act to tell that truth openly. FEMA camps are real, and they really are built with a purpose in mind. They will not be used as alternate housing for the hood, either. Suburbia is much easier to herd onto transports dontchaknow.
