Q:
“Obama & The GOP: Will They Ever Beat This Guy?”

A:
No.

If Obama is to be “beaten”, it will be because he slips up and defeats himself.
But the Republicans seem to have neither the ability nor the will to do the job...

“Obama was beaten in 2009 and 2010 when the people rejected his agenda.”

Pray tell, what part of his “agenda” has been rejected since then?

If the GOP continues to support Amnesty, support Obama on the Eligibility issue, and cave into Obama’s big government schemes....the GOP is toast. No Real Conservative will waste their vote on a liberal GOP.

The GOP establishment has lost to a flaming Marxist twice and rather than embrace the Conservative Principles that have brought them victory in the past, they now talk about running left of those principles.

I don’t think there are enough conservatives left.

Every year 2.5 million (mostly white, 65% Republican) voters dies off, replaced by (almost entirely minority) > 70% Democrat voters.

The GOP is not intrested in beating obama. The GOP is intrested in destroying the Conservative movement. This is where they will direct all their enegries.

There are people out there like Krugman and other usefuls who really believe that since we are the world reserve currency, there’s no limit the amount of money we can print and debt that we can take on and still not have inflation and not have a catastrophe. They don’t see Greece as our future, they see possibly Japan at the worse. They don’t see California.

Bingo! It doesn’t matter what the plans are if the people either don’t hear them or hear a bastardized version.

We can boycott the advertisers but apparently they’re getting government or Soros subsidies.

Has Rand Paul gone fully liberal on immigration yet? He once expressed support for something of a moratorium on legal immigration in exchange for legalizing illegal aliens. Has he completely abandoned that reasonable position as part of the great GOP Hispanic panic? If he’s as sharp as his supporters say, then surely he doesn’t think for one second that his small govt ideals will appeal to Hispanics and other immigrant groups.

And when he’s talking about taking a different tone on social issues like gay marriage, can’t he least throw a bone to conservatives and say that states that have chosen to ban gay marriage (like Kentucky) should never have that decision reversed by judges?

I want to like Paul. I think he could be a refreshing voice, and a good addition to the discussion, especially on avoiding bloody nation building campaigns. But it really sounds like he has embraced unending mass immigration, which is completely at odds with his small govt philosophy. Does he not see that importing millions of big government consumers will make reducing government almost impossible?
