It’s a simple matter of the capitalization of the L in libertarian. Capital L libertarians are for pretty much getting stoned whenever they want, not paying any taxes, anything goes sex... you know, Hedonists... low- empathy, mostly subclinical sociopaths only in this life to Take... to consume freely... and return as little or as much as they deem fit in their mind.
Then there are the small L libertarians... people that genuinely care for their fellow man... are willing to fight for the Republic and stand beside the U.S. Constitution... something fundamental to all freedoms.
I am not alone in noting more and more these “You aren’t conservative because... blah blah blah” threads full of personal attacks... baiting... just disrespectfulness. It’s not “tolerance”... it’s respect... civility.
...And now, on with the opera. Let joy be unconfined. Let there be dancing in the streets, drinking in the saloons, and necking in the parlor.
Not that this has anything to do with the thread at hand, but FWIW. I’ve seen weirder stuff than what’s on your home page, but not often.
