The goal is to flip the Republican-held House back to Democratic control, allowing Obama to push forward with a progressive agenda on gun control, immigration, climate change and the economy during his final two years in office, according to congressional Democrats, strategists and others familiar with Obama’s thinking.

And yet there are dingbats among us who will sit home rather than vote "R" if the GOP House candidate isn't pure enough. 2014 is a continued blocking action, the most important thing right now is to NOT allow the Democrats to win back the House. It will be a victory even if all that the House Republicans accomplish is to block the worst of Obama's agenda (significant gun control, climate change taxes, etc). The next most important thing is to win the Senate back so we can maybe force him to veto some popular bills for once.
