OMG!!! I know that gun.... it’s called the “Teacher Eliminator”. It comes with written instructions on how to throw imaginary grenades at bad guys when your trying to save the world.
When I was a kid we would play war using sticks for guns and we tossed pinecones for grenades. At the age of 13, I had progressed to bombing a group of nuns (nun cluster) with water filled balloons. At the age of 17 1/2, I enlisted in the U.S. Army and volunteered for Vietnam-—I was a stupid kid. ;>)
Whatever you do folks, do not allow your kids to play with pinecones.
If I were a kid in todays world, I’d probably be doing prison time.
I think the left is just starting to figure out how far they missed the boat on the airsoft hobby.
They probably just thought it was another incarnation of paintball, they’re wrong, and now they’re PO’d.
Airsoft guns are very close replicas of their firearm counterparts, and are effective training tools for the next generation of patriots. The equipment and gear that goes with them can be easily used with real teams with real firearms.
I take my daughters shooting on the weekend.
One weekend, after my youngest fired one of my AR-15s, she asked me to take a picture of her in action, so I did.
Then she asked me if we could email it to her teacher.
That’s when I had to inform her that the mere mention of a gun might cause her significant trouble in school. She’s a smart kid, so she understood. But, I could see the disappointment on her face.
It sounds like the teacher needs a mental health evaluation for imagined threats.
The teacher would probably have reported you to CPS.
Refreshing to know this still happens.
Alas! Gone are the good old days when if a child brought a gun to class for “show and tell”.
And if an older teen brought a gun or big knife to class it was for Leathercraft work.
And those in between would set around at lunch time and sharpen their personal pocket knives. If you did not have a folding knife and whetstone you were no body.
Then the faint hearts took over the administration of the schools and set about turning the boys into girly boys.
That is a sad story, but it is so very good that you take her shooting.
My oldest granddaughter is 11. All she wanted for her last birthday was a .22 rifle— she got it. ;>) She is a very good shot.
Agreed.
My Rock River Arms LAR-15 is well dressed, but some of those Airsoft guns look even more impressive.
Then shave a patch of arm hair, to show how sharp it was. Yes, I remember those days.
Pretty soon they’ll be having lockdowns for clouds that float by in the shape of a gun.
California gets closer to being a liberal utopia every year.
