Its not meant for contractors It wasnt intended for contractors, said Abney of the email, which details how folks should deal with the press because of sequestration (mandatory spending cuts).
But, Abney conceded, he cant swear that contractorsthat is, civiliansdid not receive the message either. In fact, at least some of the 6,000 contractors that work with JMC received the message.
The message was intended to remind our employees that they are not spokespersons for the government, said Abney on the phone today.
Abney says he was just reminding employees that the commander in chiefPresident Barack Obamais their boss.
Here's the full text of the email, which was written by Abney:

To JMC employees,
Because of media interest in sequestration and furlough, you may be approached or contacted by a reporter at some point and asked to comment.
If you don't wish to speak with a reporter, politely decline.
If you agree to be interviewed, remember that you're expressing your personal opinion, not that of anyone else - and certainly not the opinion of JMC or the Army.

Does it not bother you that private contractors (in other words, civilians) are being asked not to discuss this sequestration fallout business with the media?
I agree with you. However, the polls indicate a majority “like him.” Yet, the polls say Americans believe we are heading in the wrong direction. Our national affairs are in the hands of idiots.
Well I do NOT work for obammy or this gub mint both of which remind me of very old smegma.
If I remember correctly, while in uniform it has always been that the military respect the Office of the President and whoever sits in that chair....civilians are not under such traditions....When McCarther bad mouthed the president (truman) during the korean war, he was recalled by Truman for disrespect of the office of commander in chief, not Harry Truman.
It’s been this way ever since I joined the military in 1977 and it was in effect long before then.
You can say what you want but don’t do it in a uniform or let on that you work in the military so some numb-nut journalist will report that “this is the opinion of a military member”
As much as I hate Obama, this really isn’t much of a story.
I love that movie!
Home is where you wear your hat - work while the clock she is ticking!

Service members are not permitted to comment on the drug-addled communist’s complete absence of patriotism, common sense, or talent. Still, I thought that military contractors could tell the truth about the malicious, antisemitic bigot occupying our White House. I even occasionally defend the petty tyrant. Some people speculate that Obama may be the Antichrist, but I’m certain that is not true. The real Antichrist will be just as evil as Obama but far more capable, energetic, and intelligent - a frightening prospect.
I have conversations in private with various military people. The story is the same. Nobody likes him. Nobody.
I have quite a few military contacts, and 90% of them are disgusted with Obama. The ones who frighten me (and they are not friends, just contacts I keep track of because they give insight into the heart of evil) are the ones who like Obama and what he is doing to our country.
