GOP House Approves CR That Funds All Obamacare—Including Regulation Attacking Religious Freedom
Cybercast News Service ^ | March 6, 2013 | Terence P. Jeffrey

The Republican-controlled House of Representatives voted 267-151 on Wednesday to approve a $982-billion continuing resolution (CR) to fund the federal government through the rest of fiscal 2013 that fully funds the implementation of Obamacare during that period.

The House Republican leaders turned aside requests from groups of conservative members to include language in the bill that would have withheld funding for implementation of all of Obamacare, or, alternatively, that would have withheld funding for the Obamacare regulation that requires health-plans to provide cost-free coverage for sterilizations, contraceptives and abortion-inducing drugs. …

The Roman Catholic bishops of the United States have unanimously declared that the sterilization-contraception-abortifacient regulation—whose enforcement will now be carried out with funds approved by the Republican-controlled House—is an “unjust and illegal mandate” that violates the “personal civil rights” of individual Americans. …

And this is precisely the reason I am no longer a Republican!

What part of lying down and cowering before the 'Rats in the House and in the White House makes the RINOs proud?

What part of "get rid of Omabacare don't they understand?

How is the organizing that third party going? We have less than two years to make the GOP leadership meaningless in reality as well as effective reputation.

Only 14 republicans voted AGAINST the CR. They are listed very late in the complete article.

yes ConorMacNessa. and that is why, although i have worked for conservative republicans, i have never joined their party. their collective actions since 2010, when we put them in power are shameful. we have a very few conservatives among them.

however, would start a recall of boehner if i was a republican in his district.

Levin warned about this yesterday. He promised to go through the role call. (If you haven’t got his FREE podcast app, get it...he is the only one making sense right now...and he is darned good at giving us heads up on things like this that most people will miss)

Those opposed, especially those that claim religious exemption - should not comply.

Those opposed should not comply.

If anything goes against a fundamental belief, a fundamental right, and that belief or right is ingrained within the soul, non compliance is the only answer.

Scary huh?

Emailed my rep., Matt Salmon (who voted against it) and asked him HOW THIS COULD’VE HAPPENED! Oh, I know how. Just wanted to hear him explain the unexplainable.

This appears to be the whigging of the GOP. 0-care is unpopular and untenable; resistance to 0-care could be a winning issue for them, but still, the GOP goes all in for big government.
Now, it appears inevitable that the conservatives and libertarians will quit the GOP and form a 3rd party.

"Vote republican or the liberals win. Wait..."

They are only fighting each other over control of the people. We are just the useful idiots who listen to them. I almost think that it would be better if the rats control everything. Lets get it over with already. We are in a slow death spiral and must realize that the only thing these guys do is wind us up when it fits there narrative. Keep watching the next survivor or check out the new phone that is coming out.

People must realize that their is no 2 party rule.

Same Party, different Letter.

The RNC called me today at work for a donation. I told him that, basically, unless things change, I’m continuing donating to the Tea Party...not the RNC...and hung up.

The GOP is going to vote for single-payer before the decade is out.

The party has surrendered to the Left. With sell-outs like this, who needs a GOP House majority when they vote like Democrats?

FYI....

Of the 151 members of the House who voted against this CR, only 14 were Republicans. They included: Justin Amash (Mich.), Jim Bridenstine (Okla.), Broun (Ga.), Ron DeSantis (Fla.), Scott DesJarlais (Tenn.), John J. Duncan Jr. (Tenn.), Phil Gingrey (Ga.), Louie Gohmert (Tex.), Jack Kingston (Ga.), Tom McClintock (Calif.). Thomas Massie (Ky.), Bill Posey (Fla.), Matt Salmon (Ariz.), and Steve Stockman (Tex.).

Jim Bridenstine (Okla.) is my rep...Freshman that was TP endorsed.

May God bless these 14 brave men. Remember them and hope they become the few that come together to form a new conservative movement to retake America. Support them and others who will do what is right, who will stand against the dark storm and fight for a constitutional republic under God's laws. The TEA Party was a good start, now we need to push on to bring in more who understand the peril our society faces.

“Thanks, Republicrats. Don’t bother calling me for a donation.”
*******
I was called by the Republican Senatorial Committee this week. I answered the call just to tell them they’ll never get another dime from me. I’m done with the pathetic Republican party.

Those few that are left in the GOP after the party has self-destructed. I and many of my friends have had it with the GOP.
