I find it quite interesting that Colmes thinks reducing payments to doctors and hospitals is cutting ‘entitlements’. Medicare pays significantly less than true cost for many, if not most, medical reimbursement, and cutting that further is ending an ‘entitlement’? This is the reasoning of the left. Go to school, work hard and get good grades, train for years - through your 20s and part of your 30s, incur lots of debt, and asking to get paid makes you ‘entitled’. On the other hand, have children out of marriage, don't finish school, don't work, live off the government, and you aren't ‘entitled’.
We live in an increasingly crazy world.
And don’t forget not to become financially secure through your hard work or in your 60’s they’ll “means test” you to take away “insurance” you were forced, with threat of prison, to pay into ala Soc Sec/Medicare.
