“Controversial”? What’s controversial about it? It’s awesome. What Colorado is trying to do is controversial. South Dakota is a great state, spent some time there. In summer ;)

Yes.

In English, "controversial" means "a topic that normal people voluntarily argue about."

Big Media does not speak English. Big Media speaks Newspeak. In Big Media Newspeak, "controversial" means "something that the speaker/author dislikes."
