There have been viable women-run societies before. Like the Navajos. They tend to be peaceful and last a long time.

Didn't the Mohawks have a deliberative body with only women leaders that made all the decisions on important matters - like war? I don't think anyone would even remotely describe the Mohawks as "peaceful", they were one of the most militaristic and brutal Indian nations in North America.

Perhaps “stable” would have been a better word? I didn’t know about the Mohawk women’s council. Interesting.

The world would end up like Starnesville.

Women are the de facto rulers of America. Their liberal voting trend has helped usher in the current mess. If the majority of our representatives were women, it would arguably be even worse.

"If a man speaks in the woods and there is no woman to hear him, is he still wrong?"

Yes, of course.

Happens all the time.

If you want a healthy balance between stability and innovation,
try a mutually respectful cooperation between the two.
(like a good marriage).

Bingo

Be Grateful for each Gift and Perspective
And Honor that others are Honorable to Their Gifts

You don't have to understand it
I stay confused all the time, but it works

Yeah. I was wondering about that myself. It would be news to my beloved wife.

Women have always ruled the world. If men ruled the world we would still be living in caves and hunting game with sharp sticks. Every advance in the history of civilization was made to make some woman happy.

;-)
My husband and I decided that one of us always had to make the final decision.
So he would be the final arbiter of big decisions, I would be for the lesser.
So far in forty years nothing big has come up.

The key to a successful marriage is for the wife to know who is boss and for her to occasionally allow the husband to pretend that it is him.

The world would end up like Starnesville.

Exactly. The men of ability would simply leave and go elsewhere.
