. . . and then there is the little matter of the special persecutor named in re: Trayvon Martin. I could have said, in re: George Zimmerman, but that wouldn’t cover the reality of the issue. Because in reality that isn’t about George Zimmerman, who in any event is a Democrat himself.
In reality the Democrats have turned Zimmerman into a caricature of Republican white men nationwide - and that is who is being persecuted in this case. We should be joining the Zimmerman suit against NBC for their egregious edit of Zimmerman’s discussion with the police dispatcher. But we should be extending the case to the Associated Press and its entire membership - and we should sue under RICO for triple damages, using the Duke Lacrosse perjury case as a notorious example of nationwide coverage of what was, within a week of the alleged incident, patently a case of prosecutor Nifong currying favor with political constituents, knowingly and intentionally against the interests of justice, let alone due process. Thereby showing a pattern of activity intended to demonstrate the influence of the members of the Associated Press.
People of the same trade seldom meet together, even for merriment and diversion, but the conversation ends in a conspiracy against the public, or in some contrivance to raise prices. The AP has a rendezvous with oblivion, and this would be an excellent opportunity to cause it to keep that rendezvous.
