The kids should ask about the basic definitions of “scientific proof”.
Then for each crazy and made up “AGW correlation” ask for the scientific proof.
“Scientists say” or “scientists conclude” are NOT “scientific proof”!
It is simply not possible for everyone to home school or private school.
oh...and don’t be on private schools for being on the right side of AGW crapola.

This is unfortunate, but it’s not something schools haven’t done in the past. When I was in grade school in the 80s we were all taught for years that all oil comes from decomposed dinosaurs. When we run out of decomposed dinosaurs, we will run out of oil. The science books always had pictures of cut-aways of the earth with pools of oil underground and dinosaur bones in the pools.
I bought it for the first couple years, but when teachers started saying how much oil the world uses everyday, it didn’t quite add up even to me at age 10.
Schools are teaching of global warming because the students can’t read about it.

Honestly, I am very discouraged to read post like yours from fellow Freepers who are conservatives.
That’s good. They can’t read, do math, don’t know history, have a gutter culture, but at least they will be fully indoctrinated in the one true Faith.
This isn't about global warming. It's about earth worship, paganism, godlessness, and preparing the child to be a good and compliant citizen... Yet... even many Freepers believe that the deprograming done in a few minutes at home can undo 13 years and thousands of hours of indoctrination

Illiteracy and numeracy can be fixed. A lost, confused, totally brain-scrambled graduate of our government's indoctrination system often can't be. And....As many Freepers have noted, government schooling is CHILD ABUSE. The effects of child abuse often can be undone.
Question: Where is the proof that government schools teach anything? Where? This should be easy to prove but these studies have NEVER been done! Why?
Answer: Because if it were ever examined, studies would show that the ONLY thing government schools do is send home a curriculum. The **real** work of learning and teaching is done IN THE HOME by the parents, child, and paid and unpaid tutors. The ONLY thing government schools do well is INDOCTRINATE!
Question: How much time does it take to homeschool?
Answer: LESS time than it take for a government school child to do the homework sent home by his Marxist and homosexual dominated government school.
Sadly.....government school kids don't get this either! Have you been reading the woeful need for remedial courses before starting community college?
Parents who did just fine in the preschool years without taking money from the voting mob, suddenly can't live without the tuition-free government babysitting ( misnamed “school”) when their children hit age 4 or 5.
Better solution:
Remove the kids and put the government indoctrinators out of a job.
After 12 years of school indoctrination I vowed never to set foot in a Catholic church again. I’ve mellowed since. Often kids rebel against crude indoctrination by the, at best, third rate intellects that infest our public schools.
My experience as well. I have been a member of another church for 32 years.
It's a poor strategy to subject a child to the indoctrination of government schooling in the hope that he'll reject it later. Government schools are amazingly effective in turning out secularists.
Please remember that 85% of children from highly active evangelical homes are NOT active in their faith 2 years after graduating from their godless government H.S. In contrast, 95% of homeschoolers are active in their faith. BIG difference!
I agree 100% with everything you say. I would shut down public schools forthwith if it were up to me.

It’s interesting too that the same people that HATED KIDS, at least in their college years, now want kids at a younger and younger age. (I know, I was there, they wanted nothing to do with kids of any form, they just wanted their drugs)
One would think that parents might be a bit suspicious, but I’m probably expecting too much from them - after all it’s from the government and it’s FREE, who are they to question the motives.
