It’s true that there are a lot of pitiful excuses for young men in this country these days, but it’s a BIG country, and there are still plenty of fine American men that want to serve.
My son is currently in Air Force ROTC, and desperately wants to be an Air Force pilot. That’s been his goal since his pre-teen days. However, the competition is extremely tough, and he says that the rest of the guys in his detachment are all top-notch. If the competition nationwide is like what he’s seeing, he’ll have a difficult time getting a pilot slot. But, he’s trying his best, is scheduled for field training this summer, and can’t wait!
