CHRIS MATTHEWS: Cynthia Tucker, I really want your thoughts and feelings on this. I don't understand how people can elect somebody like Ted Cruz. Here's a guy so far right, so unlimited in his notion of the second amendment, that anyone should be able to have any kind of gun. And anybody who says you can't have any kind of gun is somehow limiting their rights under his view of the constitution.

I'm not a sixth grader. Senator, I've been on this committee for 20 years. I was a mayor for nine years. I walked in, I saw people shot. I've looked at bodies that have been shot with these weapons. I've seen the bullets that implode. In Sandy Hook, youngsters were dismembered. Look, there are other weapons. I'm not a lawyer, but after 20 years I've been up close and personal to the Constitution. I have great respect for it.

So, after beginning by saying he wanted Cynthia Tucker’s opinion on Ted Cruz, he then went on a bumbling rant against Ted Cruz. Why ask for anyone’s opinion on any issue when you frame the discussion in this manner? Matthews is a deranged idiot.
We need more Ted Cruz representatives. I used to love the way Jeff Sessions went after Ted Kennedy.
