To: Cyber Liberty

I just don’t see them adding much value....maybe before the age of cable TV, they made sense...but now every debate, no matter where it is, becomes fodder for the media with which to bash Republicans in general with.

If you paid attention, the damaging soundbites came as a result of liberal slanted questions designed to pit Republicans against one another. A conservative moderator would elicit answers that are of value to conservatives. That’s not what we got.

I agree I’d rather have no debates if we’re only going to get Jim Lehrer asking the questions. And that goes double for the General Election.

Oh, I forgot to mention: The leading candidate for the GOP was quite happily destroying his competition.
