Maybe residents/voters should consider a little more involvement in their local politics. So much of official self-dealing is done with the consent of the governed who simply fail to watch what’s happening, and treating these government officials as employees who serve at will.
Beware the politician/government worker complex! We have elections to put people into positions to watch over government employees. Somewhere, there is at least one elected official who was tasked with overseeing this person and her pay. But, what happens when the elected officials collude with the government employees? That is the basis of the Democrat party. If you want to steal big money, forget the banks and run as a Democrat. The public treasury is where the big money is, and the crooks go for the big money.
Wrong side of the bay. She works for Alameda County. Its most famous city is the thriving metropolis of Oakland where Governor Moonbeam used to be mayor.
Also a team from the Enterprise went there looking for Nuclear Wessels.
