the only vacation I ever heard about Laura Bush doing was HIKING in Washington State with some girlfriends at one of our FABULOUS NATIONAL PARKS!!
I did a little research.
It seems the Laura Bush and the twins did go to Africa, but it was by no means a vacation for them, but rather a “goodwill trip” with lots of official duties.
