“Coburn vehemently opposes any attempt by the federal government to retain information on gun owners.”
Well, they have to gather it first and then keep it for the background checks so it logically could never be removed.

Let it play out Sen. Coburn and don’t undercut those real Conservatives that threaten filibuster. Coburn, quite frankly, seems to have lost some of his conservative zeal over time, has he had the RINO lobotomy?

Question: what part of the American citizens’ Constitutional rights do these bozos NOT understand (or not give a damn about)?
Answer: All of it.
(Remember what he told us, “Elections have consequences.”)
To: rurgan
Yes, I think the up or down vote will happen and maybe it should to put Dems on the record.
Reid will probably have to allow amendments. I believe Coburn is going to attach his idea of background checks though he's not explicit in this article.

"We ought to have this debate. America needs to know where we stand," Coburn continued..." Senator Coburn, we had that 'debate' with Great Britain over two hundred years ago, and settled the matter decisively. Our God-given RIGHT to keep and bear arms has been enshrined in our Constitution ever since.
Congress has NO right to rule one way or another about RIGHTS it does not have the power to bestow or revoke.
There is nothing to 'debate'. Stand and defend the Constitution as you swore to, or resign in treason and disgrace.

It’s never going to pass the Senate, much less the House. This CNN article is bs just like all the “news” is.

then keep it for the background checks I think Coburn's position is to destroy them within 3 days.

I think Coburn's position is to destroy them within 3 days. Like that's really going to happen...

dont undercut those real Conservatives that threaten filibuster Dems don't look like they have the votes. Perhaps Coburn is right that the up or down vote is the way to go.
To: rurgan
Its never going to pass the Senate, much less the House. The feral elites had better hope like HELL it doesn't.

Like that's really going to happen... If the Dems really want to pass a bill it might.
To: rurgan
Its never going to pass the Senate, You also don't think they have 50 votes?
To: Red Steel
Our side, the American People, are going to lose this fight.
