Oh you want to go down that road? You want to deny 2nd amendment rights to a person on Ritalin? How about the millions of law abiding people on anxiety or depression drugs like Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, etc. Virtually none of these people are dangerous in any way.

You realize that people will simply avoid any kind of mental health treatment if they know that because they are prescribed a Valium or Xanax they lose their 2nd amendment rights. That anyone on Free Republic supports this is beyond disappointing. Do you really not understand the ramifications of this?

They prescribe that drug for any behavior they deem a problem, real or imagined.

Apparently being put on some of these same meds for nerve pain is verboten then if one wants to defend themselves in an efficacious way since they are otherwise physically disabled and unable to do so?

You would deny a physically disabled person their second amendment rights because they are on things like cymbalta or other psychotropic meds it seems.

Generalized anxiety disorder
Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)
Eating disorders
Stroke recovery
Premature ejaculation
