46 Senators Willing to Trash 2nd Amendment, Surrender Sovereignty to UN

Please sure all your friends in every State see these names. The vote and the bill is a matter of public record.

Over the weekend, we came four votes away from the United States Senate giving our Constitutional rights over to the United Nations. In a 53-46 vote, the senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.

The Statement of Purpose from the bill read:

“To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.”

The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms. The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S., and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry on all private guns and ammo.

Astonishingly, 46 of our United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.

from Senate records- a nay indicates unwillingness to stop the unconstitutional UN treaty:

U.S. Senate Roll Call Votes 113th Congress – 1st Session

Nay vote was for NOT upholding the 2nd ammendment. The top list has their vote after their name.

Nope. One vote, two lists.

First list: senator, vote. Then next senator, vote.

Second list: all yea (good) votes then all nay (pro-UN) votes.

How in the hell did this even coem up for a vote? Are we, or are we not a soveriegn nation? How the hell is it that we have so many traitors to our soveriegnty in office? Whjat the hell has this coutnry sunk to? There’s no way in hell this shoudl have even been brought up for a vote- The republicans shoudl have REFUSED to even appear for the vote and should have instead held a press conference while the dem TRAITORS were i nsession and told the press that they refused to join the democrats to vote on somethigfn that is blatantly traitorous to this nation!

But once again- wee have the republicans dutifully goign to the vote givign hte left6’s antiAmericanism even more legitimacy i nthem indfs of citizens isntead of SQUASHING the antiAmericnaism right in it’s tracks

You know- not so long ago- peopel were JAILED for beign suspected communists- Nowadays, apparently, it’s a badge of honor to be antiAmerican if your a democrat?

[[Aren’t they all violating their oath to uphold the Constitution?]]

Yes, but who’s goign to hold them accoutnable for doign so? The media? Nope! the ‘Republicans’? Nope! There’s noone to hold them accoutnable (and they know this full well and are FULLY EXPLOITING this cowardly inaction by republicans, and will continue to do so as they systematically strip us of many of constitutional rights!)

[[Some good conservatives are consequently being accused]]

There are ‘good republicans’? I didn’t see oen republican hold a press meetign sayign they would NOT even deign to vote for such a blatantly anti-American bill- I didn’t see one republican stand up to dear leader by informign hte American public that dear leader’s bill would mean giving up our soveriengty and alloowing a European nation/union to control our laws here-

Sorry- I’m not convinced there are any ‘good repbulicans’ anymore- Sadly, Rand Paul is abotu hte only one with even a modicum of guts- I’m not a paul fan- but my goodness, he at least had the guts to oppose a proposed measure- (although he did vote on htis bill-)

Two lists, one vote. Yea is Good! Confusing to say the least. That Yea sounds like the wrong side because of the way D.C. does business. Nothing is ever straight and simple when D.C. votes. Confusing ... Confusing. I think (shaking head) I understand. Thanks for all the help.

Until 10 million of us decide to go down to Washington and make examples of some of them they are going to continue to do so. We need to show them who we are and put the fear of God back into them.
They think they are winning. I think we are just not mad enough yet. Sooner or later if we really believe what we all say here we are going to have to put our money where are mouths are.

If the NRA had any sense, they should come out immediately with a new rating for the traitors, there are a bunch of F's to be given out.

That's about the only way I would consider rejoining. Wake up and smell the stink NRA!

BUMP!!!!!

Wait, wait...

“from Senate records- a nay indicates unwillingness to stop the unconstitutional UN treaty”

So... the Yeas are good or the Yeas are bad? I think I’m confused.

Vote was confusing. A Yea vote was against the treaty. Nay vote was for it. Coburn and Inhofe are OK.
