You beat me to this, Tiger! I was about to post the same article.

For the New York Times to print an op-ed piece calling for a first strike is shocking. And as for them being in Obama’s pocket, here's their editorial today on the subject: “North Korea poses a more imminent nuclear threat than Iran. But so far, Mr. Kerry’s continuing trip does not make us confident that the administration has a fully thought out strategy that will be any more successful than the current one, which has failed to curb either the North’s nuclear weapons program or its bellicosity.”

Also, you might like to send this surprisingly positive profile of President Park Geun-hye to the Korea ping list:

Steely Leader of South Korea Is Battle-Ready

The influence of the “old media” is less than it once was, but the New York Times is definitely an opinion leader in American liberal political circles. Something is clearly going on among the liberal elites if the New York Times is criticizing Obama, complimenting the daughter of a military dictator, and printing op-ed pieces calling for military first strikes. This simply isn't at all part of the normal playbook.

But then again, King Jong-un has also departed from the playbook, and perhaps those people in elite liberal circles who have access to information we don't have good reason to be afraid.

The NYT is just like the Soviet-style Pravda daily propaganda sheet.

"Nothing" was ever printed in Pravda accidentally.

Dittos for this NYT "citizen editorial".

The Obama-zone hired a ghost-writer to write this "belicose puff-piece" ... then John Kerry's State Department handed it to the NY Slimes ...

it's all designed to send a message ... to the Chi-Coms, North Koreans ... et al ...

I don't care what anyone says.

Sure, the U.S. Military can open-up a cosmic can of Whoop-Ass on North Korea, and sure, the South Koreans are primed for a classic bar fight ...

But ... once that first artillery salvo targeting Seoul starts from North Korea ...

whether the US clobbers North Korea with tactical nukes or 500 MOABs ...

MILLIONS will die as "blood flows like rivers".

=====================================

Don't you just hate it when American Jouralism has descended to just another Gobbels-like "Ministry of Propaganda" ?

Such as New York being on the list of targets?
