I don't care if the legislation gives 10 AR_15's to everybody in the US.

NO gun control till existing laws are enforced.

Crony phony conservatism, that’s what this is.

The organizations in the Republican orbit are not reliable.

It’s the old story:

The Democrats propose to tear down the Washington Monument, and the Republicans respond with a sensible plan to do it in three stages.

Will it allow us to take our weapons when they put us in the cattle cars?

If what he is saying is true, then wow. Just wow! Going to be a lot of pissed off Gun grabbers when they find out how badly they’ve been screwed!

It’s a Trojan horse, alright. But for the 2nd Amendment.

I posted this, and I’m completely stunned by Gottlieb.
His past record is outstanding.

What happened?

Gottlieb, Toomey, and Coburn have outdone the “progressives” at their own game.

The bill proposed has plenty of trojan horses in it for our side, and takes about 20 steps toward restoring our rights for a very small one backward.

I think the NRA will be with this one as well, and I think Obama may veto it. It is much like when Senator Coburn forced Obama to sign the guns in parks bill as part of the budget he wanted.

This has all kinds of stuff that Obama and the anti-freedom people hate. It is a real “compromise” in where we get a lot, and they get to save face, and get very, very little.

Needs repeating. Few people read the op or watched the video. I think it’s a win for our side!

They are a left wing front organization. With a false veneer of conservatism.

We wouldn’t be having any of these problems if the politicians had just left the Second Amendment alone in the first place!!! Many, many years ago!!!

I am not so sure. I was thinking that the Coburn amendment was included, and it is not. Gottlieb is saying it is full of good stuff, but we need to check out the details. I am far less confident than I was last night.

In this case I believe there was no room for a hard stand. Shame on all gun owners that sat out the election.

What answers does Gottlieb have to those points, to our concerns?

Incongruous.

This will take time...print out and read...(gun bill)

(Bill Text...S. 649PCS)

Call the NRA and ask where they stand on this bill. I do not trust Senator Schumer nor A.G. Erick Holder....they run their own rules for congress and The U.S.Constitution.
