A decorated war veteran on a Boy Scout hike with his 15-year-old son was arrested alongside a Texas country road after a police officer accused him of rudely displaying a firearm.
Army Master Sgt. C.J. Grisham told Fox News he was illegally disarmed by members of the Temple Police Dept. even though he held the proper permits to carry his weapons.

In this day and age people are alarmed when they see someone with what you have, one of the officers told a handcuffed Grisham. They dont care what the law is.
<snip>
By all indications, Grisham was arrested just because he was legally carrying his firearms.

Chris told Fox News that the police officer refused to let him out of the car until he answered a series of questions. The boy had not been arrested.

[[The sad part is, I understand what you are saying.]]
you’re not alone- Cambridge did a study showiong that peopel can read words that are messed up just as well as when they are spelled right as long as all the lettersw are present and the fitrst letter and last are in right position- The brain just automatically fixes the mispellings- but I admit, my words do get really mangled
Both Firefox and Google are calling your link a security risk due to reported malware problems with the site. I know of Michael Yon and his reporting. I trust him, has his site been hacked or falsely reported as having issues?
Was the cop fired ? If not, why not ?
Then he should have painted smiley faces on the ar-15 to avoid any hint of rudeness.....
I wish events like these could have a complete video and audio transcript of every word said so there can be a complete record of what went down. The charge has been changed according to the following article:
Since his arrest, the charges against Sergeant Christopher Grisham of resisting arrest which was a Class A misdemeanor was changed to interrupting, disrupting, impeding and interfering with a peace officer while performing a duty, a Class B misdemeanor.
read the link at 65 — very interesting guy it appears. If Yon is down on him, I would like to see a lot more info.
Yesterday he was on Lynn Woolley’s talk show and admitted to grabing the rifle from the officer after he was disarmed. Thats when the officer put him at gun point and led to him being cuffed and arrested. Had he just been cool this would have been a non-story.

Thanks, if true that brings an entirely different aspect into the scenario. I believe there is more to this story than we are being told by either the accused or the police.
Yeah, appears so. When you read the Google report it looks like the normal leftist hack attacks on his site. Sorry about that.
I agree 100%. The LEOs involved should also lose their licenses at the minimum.
I saw where the mayor of Temple just declared bankruptcy... I wonder if he did this as a preemptive move to his upcoming civil suit...
LOL! Nailed it!
I’m doing okay. We are fighting the monster, peeling off the scales of injustice and corruption one scale at a time.

My next hearing is on 29 May where I will enter my “hell no, I’m not guilty plea.”
