The parenthetical comment, 100% wrong. He found some push back apparently in just seconds after he left the air having given a speech with not one trace of emotion, compassion or empathy and not using the words terror or terrorism.

Chuck Todd was on NBC very quickly putting forth the WH update you see in these next paragraphs from this story. They tried to get away with their no terrorism language again and it didn’t work——

“When multiple devices go off, that’s an act of terrorism,” a senior administration official told Fox News, just moments after President Obama delivered a statement to the nation and did not use the word “terror.”

The official stressed that with details still coming in, it is unclear whether a foreign entity like Al Qaeda was behind it or whether it was home-grown terrorism. As a result, this official said the administration did not want the president to get out too far ahead and directly call it “terror.”

Sounded to me not unlike that of a farm-state AM radio announcer reading the commodities price report.
