The worst mass killing in US history, or some nonsense like that.
Someone posted another thread earlier about the Ten Deadliest Bombings in US History. This one wasn't even close. Aside from Oklahoma City, the WTC and an unsolved bombing at LaGuardia Airport in the 70's, most were pre-1960 and involved anarchists or labor agitators. Aside from that hideous 1927 Michigan school bombing and a couple of nuts who blew themselves up on airplanes to let family collect on their life insurance. They went back as far as the Haymarket Riot in 1886.
But I doubt you'd find one Journ-O-List in a hundred who was familiar with any of that.

One can understand the confusion re: shoe or fruit of the loom underwear...
Actually, if it is a Muslim, Arab or Islamic sect, it simply cannot be "terror" for this White House!
Actually, terror no longer exists except in the minds of conservatives.

ironic .... they even had a camera crew to report the first one ...
To: zerosix
There have been several incidents of muslims driving into crowds of people as well.
To: zerosix
The attack on the Jewish community center (in Seattle?) with guns, etc.
Plenty of Islamic terrorism on Obumya’s watch.

Nah, no terrorism in evidence in that picture. Those people on the floor are just playing possum. Nothing to see here...move on.

Benghazi was a simple protest march, if you recall.

The Wash. COMPOST is also FOS.
One of the Washington Post's front-page stories on the Boston bombing had this headline when the story turned to page A7: "After a decade of plots foiled or botched, one success."

Actually I was pleasantly surprised to see that Ron Fournier of the AP
included Hassan's shooting at Fort Hood as a terrorist attack, in a piece published today.
Apparently Fournier isn't buying the Obama/Holder labeling of that event as "workplace violence."

“Or should we assume ABC News is just toeing the Obama line that it was an act of workplace violence and not what it was, terrorism?”
Yes, of course. The LSM are really Obemba’s media.

Ah, yes, I do seem to remember that or those incidents now.
Most, if not all, murderous terror acts committed around the world can trace their roots to Islam and Muslim extremists, no matter which country or continent and we can now lump the Muslim Brotherhood that is in charge in Egypt, as a sponsor of terror, for they are killing Coptic Christians by the droves. We just don't hear about it at least not from our own MSM for they are loathe to point the finger at Muslims.
It is so difficult to understand as the media, academia and Hollywierd, are so pro-Muslim yet when or if Muslims and Sharia law became prevalent in this country, wholesale honor killings, slaughter of homosexuals and clamp down on all pornography vendors (think Hollywierd) as well as nonsensical college classes on or about sex, would stop immediately!

they should go out of the news business. ABC News needs to tell the families of the 13 murdered heros by Hassan the Islamic radical maggot that their loved ones didn't die from terrorism.I agree with your characterization of the MSM and Hassan.
While I understand your feelings about Hassan's victims, not all of them were necessarily heroes.
Several most definitely were, including those who charged or tried to charge him at risk of their own lives.
But merely being shot isn't particularly heroic. It's nothing to be ashamed of, and I'm sure many or most of his victims would have fought back if they had been given a chance.
My point is not really about Ft. Hood. What I object to is the conflation of the concepts of heroism and victimization. Heroism consists of action, usually fighting back, especially when you don't really have to and/or in defense of others rather than just yourself. And just being in the line of fire of a psycho does not in and of itself make you a hero.

Thats not true either.
That muzzie that drove his car into a crowd of pedestrians is but one example.
