Mohammed Badawood, 20, is the roommate of the Saudi national being questioned by the FBI.

Investigators have ruled out the Saudi national questioned in connection with yesterday’s Boston Marathon bombing as a suspect after a search of the man’s apartment and computer turned up nothing explosive- or terrorism-related, law-enforcement sources said.

The FBI-lead investigators are continuing to probe the man’s background but are also conducting a wider search of terrorism websites and chatter, surveillance footage, and the ball bearings and nails used in the two bombs, the sources said.

According to CNN, investigators have also found no link from the bombings to foreign or al-Qaeda connections.

Impossible. 3/4 of FR already declared him guilty.

Saudi-boy is the decoy. Has he done his job well enough to let his co-conspirators make their getaways?

Innocent until proven guilty. I’m don’t think all the personal information going out about people who are presumed innocent is a good thing.

This is all a joke. It’s going to go down just like Benghazi. If we are expecting the truth, don’t hold your breath.

They would rather convict our troops than give the truth about it being a terrorist. Remember al Qaeda is on the run.

Correct spelling:

Innocent until proven guilty. I don’t think all the personal information going out about people who are presumed innocent is a good thing.

Guilty or not, this "Saudi national" is going to be part of a thousand conspiracy theories. There are Sandy Hook Truthers around that think the Newtown children were fake or deformed satanists, imagine what loony stories they'll think up about this Saudi kid.

You know within hours after 9/11 I was amazed with how much knowledge our CIA & FBI had about the terrorists and their training. Afterwards our government passed the Patriot Act because it would supposedly help us gather even more info to help us stop acts of terrorism ......well we are really less secure and our freedoms have diminished. I bated the patriot act then, I despise it even more today.

“Impossible. 3/4 of FR already declared him guilty.”

It is a bit like a hen party here sometimes.
Wild speculation, zero facts.

Remember al Qaeda is on the run.

That is the story on Progressive Fantasy Island.

Here is the story on planet Earth.

By assassinating Osama Bin Laden, Obama and his cronies have empowered Al Qeada with one of the greatest martyrs in the history of Islam. The payback from Obama needing to kill Osama to win the presidential election, is just beginning.

He could have just been in the wrong place at the wrong time. It is best to keep eyes open until the actual perp is captured instead of being sold on one answer.

One should expect speculation - even some wild - on a news forum when there is a dearth of news.

It'd be pretty quiet around here if there wasn't.

Innocent until proven guilty

In a court of law. Lawyers call it (correct me) "a legal fiction". Or something like that. People parrot it as if it was (1) their original discovery, (2) wisdom of Solomon.

O.J. was declared NOT GUILTY. Does it mean he didn't do it?

I guess, still since we pride ourselves on using logic and not emotioon, it strikes me as a bit funny. “The sky is falling, Run Away” reaction.
History and facts go through a biased filter here just like everywhere else I guess. Same Sh_t, different bias.

With Obama happily droning people to death, human intel and other valuable flow of stuff are bound to ‘dry up’.

Because HE couldn’t be bothered.

I keep asking...”Why the Boston Marathon??”. Who would get pissed off at a bunch of runners? Did someone not like getting their property trampled upon? Why those two locations? Did a runner at one time PO the bomber? What is so special about Boston? Will there be more?
