It would be nice if they could at least get it right. If the suspect is still out there, and the public might be able to help bring him to justice, shouldn’t we know what he looks like?
PS: If they frequented that store, might be worth reviewing some older in-store surveillance footage to see if they had any regular contacts there.
PPS: Also track any use of credit cards there, might be a paper trail.
