There is a double standard: White terrorists are dealt with as lone wolves, Islamists are existential threats.
As we now move into the official Political Aftermath period of the Boston bombing the period that will determine the long-term legislative fallout of the atrocity the dynamics of privilege will undoubtedly influence the nations collective reaction to the attacks. Thats because privilege tends to determine: 1) which groups are and are not collectively denigrated or targeted for the unlawful actions of individuals; and 2) how big and politically game-changing the overall reaction ends up being.

Seems that Salons David Sarota cant be bothered with such sentiments.
Besides being overtly racist and divisive, his statements show that he suffers the same affliction of many modern journalists, believing unequivocally that his opinions are facts. In the manner of extremists of all sorts, his mind is a hate-world that can only perceive reality in terms of us vs. them. Things like tolerance and moderation are beyond comprehension.
Too bad, so sad. Not it appears it’s a bunch of dark-skinned Sons of Obama, bitterly clinging to their Korans and their Pressure Cookers.
The leftist media will say he is, regardless his race. The same way they said Spanish-speaking, minority George Zimmerman was white.

Right, and effective targeted security measures can be taken against a network like that — without starting a war, or doubling the Pentagon budget, or passing a new Patriot Act, or whatever.
