Berdie, the people have always held the power in this country. Always. Whenever we've flexed our muscles, the petty elitists and wanna-be tyrants in Washington have shrunk back in fear.
If we ever decide to do more than just flex, they're going to run for the hills.
I would agree with you except for three things that scare me.
If it had been a staight up and down vote...we would have lost. Reid evidently voted “Nay” so he could bring it back up. (Some parlimentary procedure b.s.)
Bamster is a control freak that exercises powers that go unchallenged and the media is on his side.
“We the people” may be somewhat outnumbered by the “touchy, feely crowd” that really believes violence can be contained by legislation.
But I’ll hang on to your optimism. I say this with no sarcasm..it makes me feel better.
