I completely understand where the parents are coming from. (though not all supported this bill) I can’t imagine how bad losing a child to murder would be. Someone needs to gently tell them that they’re being used by politicos who do not have our best interests in mind.

If he shuts the hell up and grieves his child, I mourn with him. But to use the death of his child to try and limit my freedom, as if we really should punish the masses for the misfortune of an individual, he can go to hell.

I'd like to as well, but take a close look at the transition between his grief statements, to the beginning of the intro to the deal

One moment, he's speaking in stilted phrases and words, and immediately after the transition he takes off like he's in a Ferrari (all right, perhaps a bit of hyperbole, but there IS a difference in the speech pattern).

It just gets my "salesman alert" vibe going....
