With all the photos and video available from that day, you would think they could match these guys to other photos where we could get a clearer look at their faces. Surely, they are available?

Just how hard are they trying to get these guys? :(

Those sent COPIES of digital images to the authorities (instead of just surrendering their phones/cameras) are likely culling through their own cache of images to see what they may have. For one, they would be able to sell them to the press even if they provide no additional investigation details.
