OK, now that we know he was hiding in a shed or a boat all day, what was with all of the different shootouts?

How come nobody was hit?

Yes, that is a must and citizen need to push the issue. Those of us on the side of truth and logic must not back down from debate on issue with anyone we may come in contact with.

It is America’s only chance for survival and to preserve our way of living.

Heard the story....The man who owned the boat saw the cover in disarray and went out...looked in...and saw a bloody mess. (He must have been sleeping or passed out.)Owner Went back to the house and called police.

Thank you. That one got shut down, judging by the comments being made when i was trying to get it to work. I never could make it do anything. Are you saying it worked all the way through? If yes, that stinks because it’s dead on my end.

Don't know if you noticed, but the UStream live feed had anywhere from 220,000 - 240,000 live connections at any one time. The "1.5M" text to the left of the counter indicated that USTREAM had enough bandwidth for 1.5 Million connections for that stream.

Don't think a few hundred Freepers could've brought the stream down.

BTW: I use USTREAM for some of my amateur radio activities as I broadcast online when I'm on air. It lets my foreign contacts see me and hear their signal back over the net. USTREAM is a great service.

This would be a great moment for some local boat broker, who likely has far more boats than they could ever sell, to pop up with a boat on a trailer to gift to the family, since odds are that their old boat will likely never see water again.

Celebrating the capture alive, dreading the following few years as this drags out in the courts, and the drive by media goes to great efforts to say this is all the fault of (a) bullying, (b) islamophobia, (c) Republicans blocking more federal giveaways, (d) all of the above.

Owner deserves a pat on the back for being AWAKE! LOL! I hope his insurance covers the boat without kvetching. (If not, he could probably sell it on eBay for a pretty penny!)

Last night, we started listening when there were around 20,000 on the live stream. Within minutes, that number was up to 30,000. And it kept going from there.

Poor dude.

Yes, I don’t think I could use that boat again, knowing it sheltered a cold blooded murderer.

"If yes, that stinks because it’s dead on my end."

It worked for me, except for the times that a video ad would appear. When that happened, I refreshed the page, and after the ad played, the scanner came back on. I had to do that several times.

Yep, and have to say the Boston PD and all others involved handled this as well as could be.

Watching how they handled the media throughout the day and took their message directly to the public several times during the day was really quite impressive. This is going to be a case study going forward for how to handle these kinds of events should they recur in the future. (I fear this is just the tip of the iceberg ... more of these radicalized muslims who've been living here will be copy-catting this to be sure.)

Boston looked good through all of this.

The media - not so much.

Yes, I don’t think I could use that boat again, knowing it sheltered a cold blooded murderer.

Or looking at it the other way, the boat contained a cold blooded murderer who just as easily could have gone into the home and killed some of the family, or gone somewhere else and committed more acts of terror. He'd still be on the loose if weren't for that boat...

My computer won’t allow a driver to be installed for the speaker so I can’t hear anything. Had to just go by what people posted here. Very intense, and it makes me realize how much adrenaline our law enforcement, military, and special ops people must deal with in these situations. I’m thankful we’ve got them and thankful they got this guy alive. Now I’m praying that he’ll talk and we’ll find out what kind of sleeper cells we need to deal with. Maybe soon.
