This smacks of the incompetence in the Fort Hood bomber, who was also in contact with a radical cleric. I suspect that the FBI is under orders from Holder not to act on anything other than explicit chatter about terrorist activities and told that they cannot take into consideration a person’s religious activities (unless of course the person is Christian) even if they are dabbling in radical islamic sites.
