The pics showed at least one bandaged hand and nothing else.

I have no idea what his injuries were. He was, by all accounts, in the vicinity of the bombs, so it could've been anything - shrapnel wounds, TBI, etc. With HIPAA, his medical records are not publicly available. The "bandage" on his hand appears to be an IV site.

I'll ask again - what would him having burned hands even prove?

Burned hands would have been a unique injury and since he was supposedly detained by a citizen, a cause for investigation and then a public explanation.

We've been fed some lame partial explanations, but nothing complete that makes any sense.
