astoria,ny was the designated area for the egyptians and is called Little egypt as somehow they are shop , cafe,hookah lounge and bakery owners all along the lower end of steinway street.
and let’s not forget that most of their hookahs are indoors,burning charcoal to smoke tobacco.—hookah is their name for water pipes.
think any politician has an answer for that 1 ?
and then we have their mosques,arabic postings/grafitti etc wall to wall.
the mosque/madras/learning centre with the screaming kids is right on my corner.
same mosque attendees have the right to double and triple park,park on the sidewalks,block common alleyways and drive ways on Fridays.
what are “they” as in the nypd and the politicians afraid of here as no one else can get away with this on any day of the year.
same for second hand smoke as these lounges do serve food and beer/wine.
