They charged him and he then had a right to an initial court appearance and appointment of counsel. I find neither the judge or the public defenders conduct as improper. The exception relied on by the FBI in not giving Miranda to a criminal suspect does not guarantee they have 48 hours. Another screw up by either the FBI or DHS.
