By all means take them, but don’t tell anyone else the story. I’ve heard that you can get in trouble with bootleg toilets. Seriously. I considered doing the same thing, making a trip to Canada and hauling back toilets, but was told I’d get in trouble with customs!
Well, I know when my husband came back from one trip, he did get questioned and had to actually pull over for a while. He was afraid they were going to confiscate them. Anyway, they let him go on his way; but, this was some time ago, 15 maybe 20 years so it is probably worse now since I think Canada now has the same enviro-disease.
It is wonderful, isn't it? Making honest people into criminals over how much water your toilet uses.
Amazing what power the regulatory agencies have.
