ESPN has gone all gay, all the time. At 6pm EDT, the main network spent the entire first 18 minutes on this issue, while on ESPN2, where the show “Around The Horn” was going on, they spent the first 13 minutes. There were numerous references to Jackie Robinson and the Movie “42” - one former NBA GM made the unfortunate comment that Jason Collins was a “utility big” - ahem -
It was stunning. They were trying to ram Collins down our throat. Oh, wait....can you say that?
I am a regular viewer of Around the Horn and PTI. Both shows used this subject as their lead story. They also spent more than the usual amount of time on this story. I muted the shows until the commentary was over.
Stop watching ESPN - it is a waste of time anyway

Stunning, also, was “42” the new bio re Jackie Robinson.
It was so pushy in it’s assertion that this “letting gays into sports is just like the civil rights struggle” that I was glad I wisely opted my kids out of the ordeal.
I LOVE the Yankees, Mets AND the Brooklyn Dodgers as a New Yorker period, and think the Ken Burns Doc “the Seventh Inning” is one of the best all around pieces ever done, lib or not.
It was disgusting, more disgusting for the idea that its disgusting message, using and abusing the memory of the time, the effort and the man in order to put across some stupid idea that we are supposed to tell our children that this is normal behavior.
Let me say this:
This is to destroy institutions.
It’s purpose includes messing up the formation of men.
Kids cannot can not take knowing about sex until they are pubescent.
Then, they can not take learning about sex form the point of view of perversion (literally, means off to the side ver meaning way; per meaning off/around)
If people think that keeping kids from knowing about sex until they’re ready is not possible, then they are completely unaware of normal family and community life.
What’s even more bizarre was the fact that just last week, a Chicago school district suspended a teacher for showing middle school kids how to use basic shop tools (screw driver, hammer, nails), the school district argued that the tools had the potential to be used as lethal weapons. The teacher filed suit, arguing that he had the tools locked in a secure safe so that students couldn’t just take them outside of class hours. So basically society nowadays is all about making kids illiterate to household chores, gender confused, and unable to pursue a wide spectrum of trades where they can actually get a job, all in the same package.
