The difference between Labour and the Conservative-LDP alliance is like the difference between Democrats and Republicans.
With Democrats in charge, it’s like being in a car going off a cliff at 100 MPH. The Republicans at least drive the speed limit — but you’re still going off the cliff.
Substitute Labour for Democrats and CP-LDP for Republicans, and the analogy fits Britain too.
In both cases, what’s needed is to turn the car around.

I was born in Irvine, the next town down the Ayrshire coast. My dads family still live in Saltcoats and I have many happy childhood memories there, it was my second home.
In summer weather, I still pop up to Saltcoats for a day out.
