These people remind me of the Taliban who blew up large stone statues of Buddha. History isn’t what is popular at the moment. Whats next? Blow up the Washington Monument because he owned slaves?

Methinks anyone who would try to wouldn’t survive.

Even though my family has very deep roots in Virginia, I’m fundamentally a Union man, as were my forebears.

But these people are stark raving lunatics.

Lee and Jackson were great men.

Davis I could live without, but what the heck, it’s not my monument.

that was the schools I think they tried t change and then there is a park after E Lee and they lost on tat too and the name stays thankfully.

Its just getting outrageous today. Do these people live in their houses looking to target a store, a park, a building a name?

Pretty much. They are deeply and profoundly unhappy, and it must be someone else’s fault.

Those someone elses must be punished.

WOW, I would love to see those papers.
Yes it seems the south wrote their words like the English until the yankee teachers came down right after the war and during the supposed reconstruction and told the kids to change how they did their spelling, .
Today it’s all about them wanting the flag down but it does seem who is fighting the war today still and right after

A beautiful monument for those who fought for slavery; and it was FOR slavery. All one has to do is read all the declarations of secession from those who wanted to secede; every one of them states it's because they wanted to keep their slaves.
