That was the other thing that struck me arguing with them was their complete intolerance of other thought. When I laid out absolute proof and another person from their side put out an analysis which basically said the same thing they began their name calling. They would not even consider the possibility the government had fudged the numbers to make it look like a heterosexual disease.
They are the most intolerant close minded people in the world due to their ignorance.

I disagree. Liberals aren’t dumb, but they are bent and twisted with a mindset that is based more on emotion rather than logic. This is why they will always play for people’s emotions. This is why they are also more conniving and deceitful—and you have to be pretty smart in a bent and twisted way to be conniving and deceitful. This is why policies they make eventually fail; because, while it may feel good at the time, the reasoning, wishful thinking, lack of human understanding, actual practice and reality eventually breaks down.
Not to digress too much, but a recent caller on Rush’s radio program used the phrase “a Cold Civil War.” I believe he’s right. We are desperately in the middle of one.
I think you’re right about many liberals defining intelligence as the the ability to deceive. The street smart grift or con is what is respected.
Obama is a genius to them on that level.
There are many doctors or PhD’s or avidly follow liberalism just as they did Hitler and Stalin. Intelligence and wisdom converge and is a multifaceted thing.
